The Garmin Communicator Plugin is a free Internet browser plugin that transfers data between your Garmin GPS device and your computer.

For example, with the Garmin Communicator Plugin you can add the maps you purchase at Garmin.com to your device. Or, you can upload your training data from your Garmin fitness device to Garmin Connect.

Notes:

• Supports Windows XP SP3 and later.
• Supports Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox 3.6+, Safari 5+, or Chrome 8+.
• This download only supports Windows computers. For the Mac download of Garmin Communicator Plugin click here.
• This software requires Windows Media Player 11 or greater (a free download from Microsoft).

• Modified aviation updates to work on all platforms.

Installation Instructions

1. Click on "Download" and choose to save the file to your computer.
2. Choose a location where you can easily locate the file by saving it to a location such as the "My Documents" folder or to "C:\".
3. Once the download is complete, go to the location where you saved the file and double-click on it.
4. Once the installation is complete, you may delete the downloaded file.

System requirements:

• IBM-compatible PC running Windows XP or later operating system and an available USB or Com 1, 2, 3, or 4 port.
• PC Interface Cable for your GPS unit. The PC Interface Cable may be purchased through your local Garmin distributor or ordered direct from our Online Store.

I've downloaded v3.0.1 numerous times, I can see it in the download folder, I've installed/runed it as Admin in my PC (using Internet Explorer), disabled Active X.... but STILL no communication! The Webupdater pick the Montana up, but not the Communicator???

It used to do!
