    3. Your maps should be listed with a status of "Not Lockable"

I just downloaded those maps via the link from this forum, unlocked, and tested them (on an XP system). The only difference is operating systems is where mapsource looks for the folder named "SA Streetmaps 2012.gmap". If installed an unlocked properly they work perfectly.

    It's very simple....
    1. On your system, find the folder named "SA Streetmaps 2012.gmap" <<< this folder contains everything you need.
    2. Copy the UnLock MapSource Directory V2.4.exe tool into that folder and run the tool. It will unlock all files an finish.
    3. Your maps should now be unlockable and visible in mapsource.
Tiger thank you, will give it a try on my XP laptop. Keep you posted ;-)

Re: UnLock MapSource Directory - Latest Updates

Hi I have followed the instructions as best I can, but I'm new to this. In MapSource, when I click utilities --> Manage Map Products --> it shows the map as NOT LOCKABLE (has it been unlocked?!). If so where do i find the map??? It doesn't appear under maps in the MapSource interface. How do I then add it to available maps or whatever??

Re: UnLock MapSource Directory - Latest Updates

    Hi,
The tool is working perfectly ok. I managed to unlock my maps, but Norton is deleting it as soon as it is unpacked. Can anyone comment if this is a real threat or just because it is made for cracking official software?
