I've got City Navigator Europe NT 2011.2 installed and it's locked. I have tried GMaptool but it only gives me FID and PID...nothing on RgnID and VendID

How to unlock those maps?

Your antivirus stopt it, almost all antivirus classify the generators like virus, but is safe, is a "false positive". Add it in a folder and create an exception rule to your Antivirus software.

Can I unlock it with Garmin keygen?
I also need to find the map ID?
What is GMapTool and how can I get it?
Where can I get the latest unlocked version of the Africa series 2011?

correct me if m wrong. all new maps is 2200+ uses new GMA protection right? so this tool is now useless for new maps. im using GVN53 with old engine and allways installed maps to sd card via mapinstall(mac osx) but now i cant because keygen wont work. i used gmapi unlocker and now my roadtrip(osx) thinks its unlocked BUT when i install it via Mapinstall(osx) inside the unit it shows map but cannot search (No detailed maps found ...). i found out that i need the .unl file but how can i get unl file when keygen is not working?

Sounds great, and i follwed your instructions, created a unlock code.
Here it stops for me since i am a newbie to this stuff.
How does one create a unl file with this code??

Run Notepad, paste the code in the new Untitled file, then File\save as... write gmapsupp.unl or sw.unl and change in Save as Type from TXT in all Files *.* and click Save.

Ok, done that! So now is the card unlocked??
I want to copie the GMAPSUPP.img to my SD card of the Garmin 1490T. Do i have to cpy both the gmapsupp.unl and the GMAPSUPP.img files to the SD-Card?
