I've just joined the forum and am struggling with Jetmouse. I have downloaded JetMouse (with Checksum fix) and need some help. If I enter the 62s unit I.D. can I transfer the maps directly onto a Microdisc on an adaptor in the computers USB port or do I need to insert the SD card serial number. I've searched everywhere and cannot locate the Microcards serial number. Secondly, in the box "Select Software product" there are only two choices - Garmin Mobile XT and Garmin Mobile PC. I have a Garmin 62s - which one should I select. Lastly, where is patched file I should be replacing located.

I think you have not understood what Jetmouse is used for.

You need jetmouse only to generate an "unlock code" to ad in Mapsource or in UNL file(unlock code file)
to trasfer maps in SD/MicroSD/Device/HardDisk you must use Mapsource.

If you dont have a MobileXT/PC you don't need an unloc code for the software, the only thing you need is an unlock code for the Maps, so write your ID UP and work only with the second box "Select Map Product:"

I generated the 25 digit unlock code but the detail on the map remains locked. How do I unlock the map detail?

There are 2 things

1) you have done something wrong, take a look at the Map ID often people write it wrong, control device ID too,

2)Your device has GMA protection so you can't unlock only with UNL file, have to use an Unlocker tool. Usualy when device have GMA protection will see " the map is not authenticated"
