I got the same warning from Avira.
I send the file to them and they said that it is a false alarm!
But they will not fix it, because the software is for cracking and they are not interessted.

This is my first attempt at using the software so I would like to check that I am going to do it correctly.

I simply want to transfer my copy og 1:50 Discoverer Maps to larger capacity SD card and then use this in my GPSMap 62s.

Is this what I do;

1. copy the contents of the GARMIN directory to my PC
2. Launch JM and enter the ID obtained from my Garmin
3. Select map type as 'custom'
4. Run the keygen
5. Copy the code to the *.UNL file
6. copy the *.IMG and *.UNL file to the new SD card

do I leave the box 'Select Software Product' in the keygen blank?

I tried to use this keygen to generate key for City Navigator North America NT 2013.3 but even though key is accepted by MapInstall and MapManager on my Mac and recognised as key for MapID 2775 (City Navigator North America NT 2013.3) my map still remains marked as Locked.

I'm 100% sure I've put correct Unit ID and MapID. Do I have to change PID, RgnID and VenID (I left them at 1, 0, 0 respectively as it's set on default).

What could I be doing wrong?

I understand that ecoRoute is discontinued on many new models as being standard. On most units, you have to pay $10 to Garmin to enable it on your device.

Like with the traffic services, I am wondering if it is possible to use JM to unlock ecoRoute?

Perhaps a silly question but within Jetmouse I have to choose between mobile XT or PC. What should I choose and what's the difference. I just want to unlock on my normal PC, nothing is mobile. Where is my kind of thinking going wrong?.
