Thank you for the share and please keep the updates coming. From my experience it works for some cameras and others it don't warn you about atleast here in the Phoenix AZ area. I went through 6 intersections with red light/safety cameras in the Mesa/Chandler/Tempe area this last weekend driving around and only two out of the six alerted me on the GPS but heck it's free and even if one or two alerts is better than none.

i dont see what the difference is in the 2 files? i see that it says modified for one but what is modified?

New GMA protection don't let you use the original file with FID 2496, the only thing changed is the FID = 700, this way can be used in GMA protected devices.

so if i have a nuvi 265wt im assuming i would use the first link right? i have 3 nuvis (265w, 265wt and 680) would i have to create 3 different unlock codes?

Yes you have to create 3 different unlock codes, one for each device, put files in POI folder.

ok thanks so much. how do i know if its installed correctly? ok so i followed all the steps in the link and it doesnt show on my 680 or my 265w when i go to extras it says go to garmin website. whats wrong?

on my garmin 680 when i go to where u said it doesnt show the saftey camera thing but when i go to where to then to extras it shows custom poi's then it shows rl-0 does that mean its installed?
