Hello,
I`m new to this so I have a question.
How can i have multiple maps on my SD card, i download all of them in gmasupp.img format and I don`t know how to rename the files so all of them can be read from the device (I have nuvi 205)
Regards,
merging them will be exactly like having them all but I will only have one file?
no other problems will happen if lets say i have europe map and adria route (europe map contains small part of adria route)?
I also have a couple of maps stored on my SD .. how do I find out which map is from which country ?

You can do the same with Mapsource. Select the parts of the cards you want and send it to your GPS.
1 gmapsupp.img but your device will show all the cards.
I have 62s and I just rename the maps what I want and they still load.
Why cant people just do that?

because it`s easier to have all the map loaded at once and not think about which maps are loaded before going on trip
Catymag,
Its just soo much easier, I have a map named Afghanistan.img, Another named UK&Ireleand.img. and a few others.
I dont like them all under 1 file as i find it slower, plus this way when these are unlocked its easier to move the maps to other GPS when needed and not worry about installing mapsource.,
I am new to GPS's, i always would use map and compass so this was a massive jump for me. Does it sound right what im doing, just it seemed logical to do things this way.
