How to install and create a map with Original Mapsource Locked

For a Mapsource installation you have to start with the Original IMG Folder

    Attention
From 2012.30 Version Mapsource is not anymaore integrated in Map installation files, Update.MSI will install only BaseCamp, so you need to install Mapsource alone then run Update.MSI file.
Mapsource is not anymore supported by Garmin, version 6.16.3 is the last one.

1.1)Run the Update MSI file to install new map in Mapsource.

    1.2)If you have downloaded a XXXXXXXXX.gmap FOLDER
In some post will find ONLY the gmap Folder EXP."City Navigator Europe NT 2012.30.gmap"
In this cases you just have to copy this folder in:
    (in XP - C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GARMIN\Maps)
    (in Vista, Windows 7 - C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps)
    OR
    (in Vista, Windows 7 - C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\GARMIN)
where "USER" is your windows account

2)Once you will need a Patched Mapsource.exe to have the possibility to unlock the map in mapsource and Jetmouse 1.5

Mapsource.exe Patched (replace the original EXE)
Mapsource.exe Patched See Attached file on post

Jetmouse 1.5 (some Antivir will advise you buti s a “false positive” create a rule for the folder with Jetmouse this way you can use it without Antivirus block)
Jetmouse 1.5 See Attached file on post

3)Run Mapsource and you will find the map Locked

4)Chose Unlock Maps and you will see the Map Product Manager - Unlock Regions,
can use Utilities\Manage Map Products... and you will have the same result

    5)You have to click "ADD..."
Then run Jetmouse 1.5 enter your Device ID and click to Select Map Product "costum mapset" enter map ID CN 2011.40 = 2365 and click "Generate"

6)Copy your unlock code and paste it in Add Unlock Region

    7)Click OK and restart Mapsource.
You will find the map unlocked, if you have more maps you will see the maps listed in Mapsource. Choose the one you want to use.
If you don't find the map in mapsource select it manualy in View\Switch To Product and select the new instaled Mapset.

8)Using Map Tool you can select all the groups of maps you need for your personal map.
You can send maps in Your Device if no GMA protection is used and the map will be unlocked, or send in your Drive to unlock with your prefered Unlocker.

You can find it in your device or using mapsource

    Using mapsource

Or you have to look in Tools\Setting \Info or about in XT
