newbie question..

i can't seem to make it work. i put it inside the voice folder. nuvi can't see the file of darth.
i didn't have problem with governator

As for those Star Wars voices & vehicles...

You need to unlock each voice separately as was directed using the keygen, .unl file in the standard way.

The voices need an unlock (.unl) file to work, the vehicles do not need and unlock file to work.

You should also note that the voices do NOT support text to speech (TTS). This means that if you use them in a gps that normally annnounces/speaks street names, they will work but you will not get the street name anouncements with either of the 2 star wars voices. They will give the directional in the form of "in one quarter mile, turn right", etc.

Help Please

Am I just stupid or what? I've followed the instructions for JetMouse to the letter and still the bloody thing won't work. Here is what I've done.
Found my Nuvi 765 device ID, then opened the unlock generator, entered my Device ID in the area headed "Enter your unit ID here". Then I go to "Select Software Product" and select "Garmin Mobile PC" and hit generate. I copy and past the software unlock code to a .UNL file with the same name as the voice file in this case DarthVader.unl and then copy it and the DarthVader.vpm file into the voice sub directory. I disconnect the nuvi from the computer and reboot it and no bloody Darth Vader voice does not show up.
Can some one tell me what I'm doing wrong or what step I've left out please.

I don't know how kmouldfs worked it out but from his post It's quite obvious what his problem was.

He used the Keygen incorrectly. It appears he used the TOP section to generate a "SW unlock" key which is incorrect. That key will not be valid. The top section is for installing mobile software on phones, and maybe other smart devices.

You need to always use the lower generate section for map and voice keys that will work.

Finally made it to work. I made a mistake not checking the expert button. Thanks guys most esp to Titleist.
