I was unable to get this work even after I followed the unlock instructions I got the code, pasted it in the unl file and still no luck. It doesn't show up in my list I have a Garmin Nuvi 40. Any suggestions? The vehicle works fine by the way just no voices.

I'm having the same problem. I think there is something dodgy going on with "Garmin Keygen v1.5 + CF.exe". Everytime I run it i get a different unlock code.
I have to turn my anti-virus off to use this file so I just hope I have not virused myself!

Just a quick update - I was not having any luck with any of the voices. Even the "free garmin voices" would not load for me. I loaded some of the free garmin voices straight from the Garmin website, they appeared to install and the additional files showed up in the "voices" directory, but when I went to "language" in the menu, they did not show up as a selectable option.

After some fiddling around, I found the firmware on my Nuvi 760 was not up-to-date so I loaded the latest (off the garmin site and since then I can see and load the extra voices.

I've still had no luck with any of the voices appearing on the list of voices from voice files I have tried to unlock. Can someone confirm if you go they the "garmin keygen" procedure twice, do you get the same unlock code each time? I am not which does not seem right. It seems to just be generating random numbers?
