burning with Imgburn

Hi,

how should I try to burn navi image files with ImgBurn? Mercedes navi file fits on singlelayer disk, but I have Verbatim DVD+R DL which are best, but ImgBurn asks bunch of questions when starting to burn, like should it burn to both layers or just first layer etc... And what about booktype settings, should it be DVD-Rom or normal?

You should use a SL DVD if a DVD9 is not required
Every DVD for navigation equipment should be DVD-ROM

I'm trying to burn an iso with "Imgburn" but i can't set the Book Type to DVD-ROM.

I'm using a "Verbatim 8x DVD+R DL (MKM-003-00)" and my writter is a "Optiarc DVD RW AD-7170A 1.05 (ATA)"

When i try to change the book type I don't know witch brand i should select because Sony is not there. And witch setting should i use?

I was trying to update my w221 comand ntg3 fromm version 4 to version 10 map europe map. I got the disk from a friend. I copied it by making an .iso file and then writing the image using image burn. The update nicely started, until it reached approximately 90%. Then it says 'map update not possible'. I tried 3 diffrent disks and 2 different dvd writers, with no difference. When i insert a dvd, it is recognised and ask if i want to update etc and it start to resume from the 90% only to fail. Is there any thing i need to do? many thanks in advance

All three disk are just bad copies.... Try Verbatim media...+ a good dvd writer ! I would try also updating first to an earlyer version - lets say 7... Then to 10 or 11...
