First attempt with Europe-West onto a Verbatim DVD+R DL didn't work ('Error reading disc').

Ordered some 8x Verbatim DVD-R DLs (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...ls_o01_s00_i00) and first attempt worked fine.

Don't know if it was the 'minus-R' instead of 'plus-R' that made the difference or whether the minus-Rs are just a more 'compatible' colour.

Are you joking ? Please check the first post of this thread you have all maps there.
However I don't know if maps for Europe can work in cars from USA.

However tell me, did you try to force upgrade ?
But these maps can work only on a few specyfic models of Alpine navigation mounted in a European cars.
European Honda is from UK and Honda from USA is from where, Mexico ??

Yes I tried force upgrade, and it showed me wrong disk, after that i got a little problem with cd ejecting, but after system reboot i got cd back

I know about that specific models CR-V MY2009 is one of theese specific models, but now i see it will not be so easy as i tough.

I don't know form wich state car is...
