i was a bit cheesed off with the attitudes of some of the members here who did not have the courtesy to say thanks after uploading files, thus i have deleted them.

i will not upload them again after all the time taken (i am using dial-up btw). you will have to get them from someone who have already downloaded the files.

No problem Sicky, I managed to get a version working. However, I still have issues with the TTS Pro voices. The first word seems to be cut-off when announces the instructions. Do you know the solution to this. Or is it because our unit is too slow run TTS pro voices. Any help would be much appreciated.

it seems to be a common problem with the TTS voices. sometimes you get them saying things like "Turrrrrr...rrrr...rrrrn left" (or right as the case may be). i haven't found any solution for this and i have search all over.

fyi, i am using normal voices. no problems so far.

How much memeory do you have?
iGO8.3.4/5 will work on 64mb, Primo normally needs 128mb.

Sorry to disagree Bazzle, but that's just not true. I have Primo 1.2 running on 4 different model GPSes. Full 3D buildings, high definition dem files and TTs voices. It runs perfectly on all 4 devices, and three of them have only 64mb of memory. IGO recommends 128mb for both IGO8 and Primo, but it will run well on only 64mb. As a mtter of fact, based on my experience, I think Primo does better on 64mb than IGO8 does.

I found the Thanks button and added rep pt a couple of days ago. Bottom left looks like a black star on each post.

I just found this setting on another websiteto fix the TTS pro cutting out. Try modifying the Sys.txt. I am still testing it but seems to work so far.
