I am trying to extract and then re-archive an IGO Primo DATA.ZIP file....then put it back to GPS
First I used WINZIP , tried different compression modes......result: can not open database
Second I used WINACE, tried all 6 different compression method, .....result: booting up, screen shows, then it shuts down and restart GPS
1)Which program to use ?
2)Which compression method select?
3)I am re-compessing 5 main folders and a "ctype.dat" file.....maybe I should just add this file to archive without compression?
I've always used WINRAR, open the DATA.ZIP in Winrar and then just copy and paste your replacement file into the archive, Winrar will automatically compress the file. Exit Winrar and your DATA.ZIP should be fine (provided the replacement file is compatible)
