Been using a Chinese chepo 4.3" for some time. Originally came with Igo8, which I found a little complex. Downloaded Primo a while back, and have enjoyed its simplicity.
But the other day I started thinking. The poi's seem to have gone missing and speedcam alerts not working. Top and bottom of it is that I think its the sys txt on primo. Here it is.......
The poi's and speedcams are all in the correct locations, just not working. I assume this is just a basic "get you going" sys txt? Because the mapping and navigation all seem ok.
I did download SysConfigurator_1.2.1 But being honest, after a few attempts at modding the above or creating a new file I still have no poi/speedcams.
I do have the original Igo8 sys text that shows all of the missing stuff, can I just use that? And does anyone have a link to a site/page that gives a full explanation of sys.txt? Even better do you have a sys.txt file for a 4.3" 480x270? Oooh cheeky.
Thanks for that duffer. Did the trick, perfect. But I don't understand how? The sys txt is unchanged, I thought that it was this that controlled the features that you see or get in primo or Igo.
Please tell us more........
It's kinda simple. The save folder remembers everything from different times when you used the program. The good and the bad - things that might cause error messages or completely change the way that the program works. For a lot of things, just deleting the save folder straightens those errors out again.
