When I remove power, Igo goes to sleep (It counts down shutdown) then the unit goes to sleep, but once I apply power back, Igo comes up immediatelly but will not work, I can press the screen and I hear a click sound, but then after that, nothing. If I dont press the click and try to wait, I can drive for over 30 minutes and no change, only way is to force a restart of the system via the hardware button.
Anyone has any idea how to fix this, either via TXT file or some other way?
I have a new Navsgo 5in with the backup camera receiver power/video dongle. When I power the unit directly (without the camera receiver dongle), it runs nicely off of car power, and charges the battery as necessary. Turns on and off as expected when I turn the car on /off.
When problem is when I insert the dongle to use the camera, it still powers on and off as expected when I turn the car on/off, and the camera works when in reverse but it does not seem to get enough power to run the unit without tapping into the battery and after 4-5 hours of running the gps, I start getting a big battery icon with OK in the box every few minutes until the unit eventually just fades to black and dies. (no its not power saver). When I remove the dongle and plug directly, it performs normally and runs off the car power and recharges the battery.
I just spent 6 days on a road trip and tried many different power cord combinations and everything works except when the dongle is on line.
(i'd post a new thread but i'll be damned if I can see how to do that on this forum...)
