Try what is in post #9, I think it will solve this problem as well.

Im told There is a fix either in Sound or Debug for sys.txt. to stop the long pause before the radio resumes playing after an instuction.
Any one know the answer to this problem ?

try all what is in sound and tts section.

The sound sys.text appears to have improved the direction commands Thanks for that furat ,but no joy im afraid with the speedcam warnings where i get the delay most of the time,
is there a way to stop any audible warnings be it a ding or spoken warning ?
i can see the cams on the screen and primo 2 will warn me if im speeding so that should be enough,
if i can get it not to warn me at all so it doesnt pause at all ?

In program settings, you can turn off/on most anything. Look around.
