    mio igo satellite problem

    hi
    I unlocked my mio moov 300, originally running miomap 2008
    I installed igo in the sd card and it works fine
    the problem is it doesn't find any satellites (miomap works fine)
    does anybody have any suggestions?
    thank you

    Check what your GPS was running on before, The baud and the rate, then goto igo and add to the sys.txt

    [gps]
    port=7
    baud=4800

    Change the Red to your numbers. Should find satellites then

    Re: mio igo satellite problem

    in which file in the miomap folder do I find the boud and port numbers?
    couldn't find sys file in miomap folder

    the sys file in igo has only these lines:
    ;[device]
    ;type="HTC Touch HD T8282"

    [folders]
    app="%SDCARD%/iGO8"

    [interface]
    maxzoom2d=6000000
    show_exit=1

    thank you for your help

    Not quite sure but try this

    [gps]
    port=2
    baud=57600

    Searching google someone said that's there's so it's a possibility that would be yours too, add it to sys.txt and try to find some satellites
