Well i have just updated my Primo on my myguide 4228we and like it a lot with the dimka skin.
problems so far are that i cant seem to get any speedcams to load. I have tried 5 different files from uk cams to europe ones, ranging from 136kb to 800kb in size. primo must find the file cos it gives the option for the cameras, i have enabled the options in the sounds menu [i think] and it all seems to show correctly but once i get out on the road it doesnt bring up any speedcams on the map and it doesnt show any visual or audio warning. primo creates the needed files in the speedcam folder alongside the txt file. Help.....
also i can get the cams from poiplaza, but they come in a number of files, mobile, fixed, lights etc. if i remember correctly previously they were all in one txt file? how can i add all the speedcams from files individually as they are all set out on poiplaza into my device as it only allows one text file?
i have found an out of memory issue today after an 8 mile trip but have altered the sys file to try to sort that.
other than these issues i like this and the skin and soon i will have to upgrade my sat nav to a higher memory one, think there are some around £35 on fleabay that llok like they will run primo??
well looks like it will have to go as although i have sorted the speedcam issue i am now faced with an error that closes it down, some 'failed to open file: $poi_mapdistant.bmp' error which i cant find any information about with regards to a cure, or rather the only fix i have found doesnt seem to exist for my priom as there is nothing in the branding zip other than a config file...lol
