I have a Chinese GPS system with the attached specification.
Every thing seems to work okay with one exception.
If i load Primo 2.4 and use it without any other function running it works perfectly. I am playing it through the car audio system.
If i use it with the music player running[the music player loaded onto the GPS device], after about 5 or 10 tracks have played the music player freezes but the navigation program carries on perfectly. It always appears to default when the music volume lowers to make a navigation announcement.
The manufacturers have looked at the problem and say the reason is, the Primo program uses 85% of memory and the music player uses 35% of memory and will not work together. If the memory allocation is as they say it would be unable to load and would not work at all. I feel it is a problem with the device on board channel mixer defaulting when asked to lower the music player volume.
I would ask your opinions on the problem, and do you come to any different conclusion.
