    iGO Primo Building visibility he vs iGO 8.3

    Problem discription:
    When I run iGO 8.3 I got a lot of buildings on the screen.
    On Primo there are only a few of them.
    I read hundreds of posts on forums, I've changed the sys text a million times according to the advises but still the same.
    Can Primo show the same amount of buildings at all?

    Primo is just a downgraded skin for iGO 8.3?

    Your question prompts this question. Are you using the exact same map set for both programs? You know apples and apples and oranges and oranges.

    Yes, exacltly I have copied the map from the iGO 8.3 content\map folder to the Primo\content\map folder.
    I've been trying to use the sys texts i.e.:
    3d_landmarks=1
    small_build=1
    3d_buildings=1
    3d_buildings_distance=3
    3d_dem=1
    3d_dem_detail=3
    terrain_in_2d=1
    3d_roads=1
    3d_tunnels=1
    3d_max_zoomlevel=800
    3d_min_zoomlevel=20
    3d_max_zfar=300
    3d_max_tiltlevel=8250
    fake2d_max_zoomlevel=3000
    3d_zfar_horizon_ratio=200
    building_render_distance_far_front=6.0
    building_render_distance_far_back=3.0
    building_render_distance_medium_front=3.0
    building_render_distance_medium_back=2.0
    building_render_distance_near_front=2.0
    building_render_distance_near_back=2.0
    [routes]
    show_only_ahead_of_car = 1
    3d]
    render_buildings_as_shapes=1 ;(0) buildinds (3dc) flat on the ground
    roads_as_line_stripes=1 ;(1)
    reduce_line_stripes=1 ;(0)
    asymmetric_projection=1 ;(0)
    planned_route_visible_behind_mountains=1 ;(1)
    small_build=1
    near_roads=1
    far_roads=1
    [interface]
    small_build=1 ;getsysentry
    as I've been reading the forums I've tried everyting.

    Why do you have such a bloated sys.txt? Do you know the more that you have will only lead to errors and conflicts? Simplify it by putting a ; in front of each line. A ; rems the line.

    Yes,
    buildings are in place ... I think it could be :either
    the building_render_distance_ or
    the 3d_buildings_distance
    settings
    I play with them and post it if there was some success

    Re: iGO Primo Building visibility he vs iGO 8.3

    Primo is just a downgraded version of iGO 8.3

    It doesn't have the zoom and tilt capabilities and is not able to display the buildings on the same level as iGO 8.3 does.
    Is there any more advanced skin available with zoom and tilt capabilities?
