    More street names in Primo?

    It seems to be lacking in streets closer to where you are driving.
    Any clues on how to add more?

    I played with this tool but didnt find the right setting IF it there.

    Try adding this to your sys.txt;

    [3d_config]
    disable_roadsign_navigation_mode=1
    roadsign_lines_per_screen=20

    These settings were mined from IGO8.

    disable_roadsign_navigation_mode=1 ; 0 = balloons shown, 1 = no balloons

    No ballons show more streetnames. Works i iGO8 too.

    Thanks for that.
    I played with the 1st post settings already with no change.

    That prog I linked gives you a layout to mod Primo and Igo 8 sys txt, worth a look.

    I will indulge from you 2nd post tonight.

    If that first suggestion didn't allow you to see close streets, I would suspect that there is something else in your sys.txt that is preventing them from showing up. You might want to take a test drive with no sys.txt and see if it's to your liking, or at least closer to your liking.

    As far as the program link you posted, since it's a windows program, it wouldn't do me any good. I use linux.

    Look at the second post as some possible parameters to adjust your map to your liking. I'm not suggesting that you use it as I posted it. Just that here are some tweaks that you might want to play with.

    EDIT: Tried the configuration editor, but didn't have much luck with it. My NAV01 complains about the version of net framework, and the NAV02 just spins the hourglass(forever).
