    Igo Primo - GPS receiver not detected

    Hello
    I have a build-in GPS system in my car (Renault)
    It is made in Korea Model HM-7 by Hajemtech running Windows Embedded CE 6.0
    Igo 8.3 works perfectly.
    Tried to upgrade into Primo 2.0
    It works but GPS receiver is not detected (After a long while I get the message "Your GPS receiver has been turned off")
    I tried to change many settings under the GPS section in System.txt (port, baud, type) with no success.
    Any idea ??
    Thanks

    I already did that
    I started with no GPS section on my sys.txt
    Then I add the port and baud stuff. Hoping it will help.
    It did not solve the problem.
    Thanks

    What is a port splitter ? And why should it help solving the problem ?
    Is it a software ?
    If yes -how you Install it on device which has no interface (apart from having a usb port) ?
    Thanks

    Port splitter it's a gps utility (software) with it you can solve your problem like i did ( i had the same problem on Navigon device) but you must have an unlocked device to use it.

    there is a easy way:
    [gps]
    port=auto
    baud=auto

    I get the message: "Autodetecting GPS receiver"
    And then, after a while, the same message again: "Your GPS receiver has been turned off"
    Thanks
    Any other ideas how to solve this problem ?

    companions

    procedure

    1. access the file system.ini
    1.1. primo > save > profile > 01 > systen.ini
    2. delete this entry (or something like this):

    [config]
    last_saved_system_time = "11/08/2012. | 12:34:22.000"

    [gps]
    baud = "57600"
    gpstime = "1352377159"
    last_gps_date = "08/11/2012."
    last_gps_time = "12:35:09.000"
    port = "7"

    3. restart your navigator
    3.1. this operation should be done in the open or near a window
    3.2. wait for about 2 to 5 minutes (capture signal)

    reminder
    before any operation,
    always make backup prior.

    grateful
