Hey guys... I've been reading and searching for the past 3 days and can't fins a specfic answer to my issues with iGO 8 install on an i9000..

I'm trying to install the pretty std iGO 8 packing which is for DL everywhere..

1. Do I need to have the phone rooted ?

2. will Igo 8 run on GB 2.3.4 ?

3. What is the correct procedure for a good clean install.. - Lots of years playing with Chinese GPS units.. just not Android phones..

4. please help.. i goin banana's// getting missing

5. please don't flame me..

on the root of SDcard copy the folder
iGO
and the .apk in the root too.

So will look like this:
Root: iGO folder + Igo My way .apk

And Get from internet Android Market. File manager ... and execute the .apk

I did all as instructed, unzipped OK, installed iGO on my Galaxy S2, but the application does not see its folders: it says "please insert SD disc with folders", which is of course inserted.
What am I doing wrong?

The Igo folder with all other folders must be on inner SD card not on removable SD card. And the .apk also. Then run the apk and that's it!
