    Re: Igo Primo on Omnia

    For those having trouble connecting GPS to Primo v1.2 (I had with by B7610 Omnia Pro):
    Use a program like GPSTest (google it) to install on your mobile phone.

    In windows WM6.5 (on your phone) set your GPS settings to:
    GPS programport: COM7
    GPS hardwareport: COM9
    Baudrate: 4800

    You can now test these settings by letting GPSTest (set to auto under settings) scan your system. When it connects you can read the settings from GPSTest and enter these in the Primo sys.txt.

    In your sys.txt make sure the entries port=7 and baud=4800 exist under [gps], if not, create them like:

    [gps]
    port=7
    baud=4800

    That should do it!

    In Google Maps, you can now also force the settings to COM7 and baud 4800 to get a GPS connection (I could not until now).
