Good point, Duffer, i do have it in the home, while doing the whole setup. In fact, i did not test it yet on the move. Thx for the hint, i will do a test in a moving laptop.
About the applications, like speedometer, multicalc.. i get messages that those are not found. How to solve it? I guess some apps are missing from the package.
Sorry for so many questions, but it's the first time i'm using iGo, as i used Garmin Mobile PC before.
Is there also a way to rescale the window to 800 x 430, for example?
BTW, anyone with the complete package, with all the apps?
And thx for any help you can provide.

Actually, 8.3.1 is an old program. Igo8 is now up to 8.3.5. That old program was developed for the PC. The newer program will not work on a PC just yet. I don't think that those applications you refer to were available back then but I could be wrong there. Also the resolution you refer too is not available so you can't change anything yet. FYI, you would make a res change in the sys.txt.

Igo31 PC midi is the one i'm using. And the apps like speedometer and multicalc are not there, and 800 x 430 is nothe there either. I did try to change the sys.txt file, where i can find 800 x 480, but trying 800 x 430 fails. Igoozoomer also fails, telling the Drawicon shared lib entry point could not be found.
The other way would run the igo for winc ce with an emulator, but i could not find a step by step how to, so i don' t know right the correct pieces to grab and build. I did try one, but teh win ce 5.0 image is in russian, and when called, opens first a command line window and then the emulator. I'm looking the way to integrate it with centrafuse, so directions and help are very welcome

Yes, you need cable or Bluetooth GPS receiver, without GPS you can use map but only to see where is given adress and nothing more!
