I connected a Holus GR-213U USB receiver, supported oly 4800 baud rate. It connect, see everything, but works strange. During driving, the position runs forward fast like 50-100m, stop and jump back to correct position, then continue on right speed. After that run forward fast again and so on. It does it continuously. It shows the driving speed stable correct.
I also tried with Holus M-1000 Bloutooth receiver, it works fine, with this there is no any problem. I used the GR213 receiver lot of years ago with Mapfactor software, but I don't remember for similar problem.
Please does anybody have any idea or solution for this? Which USB receiver do you use, which works well? Which type can you recommend, which should work correctly?
    Thanks.
    Gábor

Do you also have a holus usb gps? if so, just use another one. I have a garmin one that comes with garmin mobile pc software and works fine. Just have to use franson software to output garmin data to a simulated com port. I use igo pc on a viliv x70 and s5 and they work fine. Was going to buy a vivotab but i heard those built in gps uses win8 driver which does not output to a com port thus may not work with traditional software until someone maybe franson can figure a way to output the gps data to a simulated port.

    thanks for your reply wildpig.
and no, its not a holus gps, its a gt1513sf gps receiver module interpreted to usb. being a cheap chinese crap what I use, (very same module or another from the same family receivers are very common on most of the navigation devices) the navigation is very accurate and smooth with sygicdrive. I was putting the blame to my gps receiver in the beginning too but after asking for help here, I tried other navigation software and I thing the receiver itself is not the root cause of my problem.
Yes, I can use sygicdrive instead, since its functioning fine, but I have lifetime free map update right for igo, so I dont want to loose this opportunity.
    Any other ideas? fellas?
