Thanks for the updates. The screen zooming is still a little bit of a mystery to me. The documentation for android says that it is supposed to double the size of the window, but that does not seem to be true in all cases. I'm not sure why you don't even have the option of zoom, mkayik. It must be your rom. All android 3.2 and newer is supposed to have zoom to fill. I know it is frustrating to have all that unused space. I blame both iGO and google for not addressing this problem. How hard is to force a window to stretch to fill the screen, Google? And iGO, how hard is it to make your program work on devices it was never intended to run on? It's almost like iGO doesn't want us to use their software

Hopefully the next version of iGO will fix this.

Hi,
I have just installed this skin, it is great and I love it, I have one issue though all my mobile speed camera alerts are now been anounced as toll booths. Do you know how to correct this?

Also do you know if you can enable tic, I am running this on a samsung galaxy s 2.

Hi there,

There are multiple speedcam "formats". Your speedcam.txt is probably in an alternate format from the default one in the skin.

I provide a way to use Primo/igo8 (regular alerts) format instead of Eur+. If you don't want to use the EUR+ speedcam alerts and want to use the regular format, copy the contents of the "Regular_Alerts" folder into your iGO folder. Then attempt to manually add a speedcamera and deselect the "EUR+" option so that it shows "Reg". The contents of the "Regular_Alerts" folder change the icons that appear on the map. The "EUR+" button changes the rest of the icons and changes the TTS alerts to follow the regular alert system.

Thank you the table makes perfect sense so if I try to find a speed cam.txt which is in the eur+ format the that will work. As for tic the spellcheck change it from tmc to tic, it was meant to be tmc.

Yeah, I don't think this version support tmc, or at least no one has figured it out yet. The skin itself has the default icons and menus for tmc, but they don''t appear until a tmc device is detected.

This skin (aka My Amigo Skin) was originally made for Amigo on WM and was ported over to the Android platform. Credit goes to freddysam and mmarz for starting this skin. It is designed to look like the original iGO skin by default. Turn on the desired advanced features through the settings menu.




Updated to v1.5.5 to fix a minor error:

The skin itself contains multiple sets of POI icons. You can change the icons individually by going to "More..." -> "Manage Places", or you can change the icons in bulk by using one of these branding.gro files:

If you want to revert back to the default POI icon set (Branding 1), use the branding.gro included with the skin or simply delete the branding.gro that you are using.


To install:
Replace your original data.gro with the included one and merge the iGO folder with the one on your SD card. If you are using iGO Thin, then you don't need root and all the files can be accessed on your SD card. If you are using regular iGO, you will need to replace the data.gro located here: /data/data/com.navngo.igo.javaclient/ as well as the audio folder which will require root.
