Please, i need some help.
I usualy use Garmin GPS systems but now I bought a car that came with a Multimedia center CASKA CA3661 and the unit use the iGO primo 22.214.171.124499 with brazilian maps.
How can I update the iGO system?
How can I update the maps?
First of all you need to install crac*ed version of primo if you want to install new maps. Since I do not know the details of your Caska 2-din system you should write here some details about your current navigation. The most important info is where the original Primo is located. Options:
1. If it's completely on a SD card, than everything is piece of cake..Just make a screen shot of the SD card file system and I can prepare you new Primo pack.
2. But if everything is on internal flash disk, that option is normally more difficult to solve since these newer 2-din wince based systems with iGO software usually uses synctool application for transfer and update files for navi system. So if your current navi software doesn't run from SD card, first thing to do is gaining access to the internal storage and try locating the original Primo folder..If you cannot connect your PC with the usb cable, there is most likely only option with synctoll via usb dongle. Check your options first and we'll figure next step after your feedback.
I use the same unit in my Honda CR-V, see attached screenshots to make yours work with Primo, it is rather easy.
It use a file called Maplaunch to launch the gps app, once you modify this file all else is fine.
Download any 800x480 Primo version from this site and copy in to WinCE folderCaska radio using Primo.bmpinside sys.txt file.bmp
