    Thumbs up Re: Arrow removal for igo8

    To Remove Arrow below Car Icon (when using Skin)

    Add this to sys.txt:

    [map]
    3d_scale_carmodel=1
    3dcarsizemin=1800
    3dcarsizemax=2400
    3dcarsizemul=1200

    Re: Arrow removal for igo8

    I'm using Dimka skin and the arrow is too large in 2D. In 3D i have managed to shrink it but I did not figure out how to shrink it in 2D. Please, can anyone help me!

    LE: Nevermind about it! I did it!
    I've tested it on my iGO8 and it works well. All you have to do is to add these lines in your sys.txt file:
    [2d]
    mincarsize=50
    mincarsize_zoomlevel=2000
    maxcarsize=100
    maxcarsize_zoomlevel=200

    Re: Arrow removal for igo8

    Good day all,
    Fisrtly, thanks for a great forum!!!! I have iGO8.3 on an HTC TyTNII. I have tried all the settings mentioned here to remove/make my arrow smaller, but they just do not work. Its almost like the sys.txt is not even being read. I am using dimka by wertVRV/Megaduck v 1.1.39 skin. Is there ANY other setting available to fix the too large arrow from sticking out under the car? (not the 3dcars, just the normal kimyaci 365 car pack from the Dimka website). Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanking you for your time and assistance,
    markanthony

    You may be editing the wrong sys.txt--depending on how Igo is installed, you may have two; one on your removable storage card, and one on the devices internal memory/storage (where the Igo executable may also be). If this is the case, the sys.txt on your card is ignored, and the internal one is used. Try editing that one.
