    Igo8 on Mio Moov s555

    I recently installed Igo8 in my GPS Mio Moov s555.
    After configuring sys.txt on the GPS, the application started to work and receive satellites.
    However my Power Button (On/Off) switch is not working with Igo.
    My previous application Spirit is working with this switch.
    How can I fix this ?

    Regards.

    WOW. I've NEVER heard about that before. I can't see how a program will have any effect on a device's mechanical operation.

    Re: Igo8 on Mio Moov s555

    I tried several times switching application between iGO8 and Spirit.
    And each time the Off command is working with Spirit and has no effect in iGO8.
    The On state is working.
    To shut down in iGO8 I need to switch to RESET state, the GPS shuts down and then I can switch to Off state.

    in my "\My Flash Disk\Program Files\System\ProcessMgr.ini" I can choose what application will start (in apcall02 field)
    for Spirit application the apcall02 will be:
    "apcall02 = \My Flash Disk\Program Files\MioMap\spirit.exe,,0,0,0,2000,"

    currently the file is:

    [GEN]
    config1 = 0,3000,99443,
    heartbeat = 500,5,,,
    apcall00 = \My Flash Disk\Program Files\MioMap\PLUGINS\FMT\Bin\FMtransmitter.exe,-h,0,1,1,1000,
    apcall01 = \Storage Card\Navigation\Navigation.exe,,2,0,2,2000,
    apcall02 = \My Flash Disk\Program Files\Igo8\iGO8.exe,,0,0,0,2000,
    scrsavconf = 31,2000,,,

    [WM_MESSAGE]
    msg00 = 0,1046,0,0,\Windows\USBScreen.exe,,0:3317::,196896 ,
    msg01 = 0,1058,0,0,,500,0:3309::,512,
    msg02 = 0,1048,0,0,,500,,20,

    Does anyone have any idea how to fix this ?

    Re: Igo8 on Mio Moov s555

    For Mio Moov 200 I used PowerButton.exe from VisualGPS for Mio.
    I ran IGO8 from MortScript what started the PowerButton.exe first and after that IGO8.

    PowerButton.exe with PowerButton.ini is located in the folder
    Visual\Programs\TroNik in the packet of VisualGPS

    mrcs example:
    Run(FlashDrive\"Stuff\PowerButton.exe")
    Run(FlashDrive\"iGO8\iGO8.exe")

    if you wont to use igo on mio moov s555 with out lose gps signal, you need to rename igo8 folder in your storage card to navigation and igo8.exe to navigation.exe
    after restart your mio has first runing navigation.exe(igo8) from storage card.
    tested on my mio moov spirit 555

    Hi guys, thank you all for your posts,i did copy igo8 on sd card and rename it to navigation.Both the folder and the application were renamed.Now, the problem is that when i start the gps i get the classical error "program application database cannot be found"
    I should mention that the sys.txt is in my "navigation" folder.Can someone help me and post here how sys.txt should look like?

    Thank you very much.

    Try to fix the application directory path at the sys.txt

    [folders]
    app="%SDCARD%/Navigation"

    or

    [folders]
    app="\Storage Card\Navigation"
