    Re: IGO Primo for 800x480 Windows CE 6.0

    I now have Primo running from the SD card but only if I remove the voice files. With them in place I get "invalid voice file" error.
    Any suggestions would be gratefully received

    Should have said;
    copy the
    .fbl files to ../content/map folder
    .spc\.stxt\.spdb files to ../content/speedcam folder (you may have to create this folder)
    .POI files to ../content/POI folder
    etc……

    Add the following text to your sys.txt file which is at the root of your Primo installation.

    [gps]
    port=1
    baud=4800

    What you use in this part of your sys.txt will depend on on the type of GPS your using. If you don't know these parameters try using this tool, which will tell you the port, baud, and protocol on most gps devices.

    Re: IGO Primo for 800x480 Windows CE 6.0

    I have an Eroda brand (Chinese) 7" and it came with IGO8. I decided to upgrade to Primo. I wiped the internal 4gb flash and loaded Primo (big mistake). I loaded this version of Primo. Primo seems to work but when you take it out on the road, the car is all over the place, sometimes on route but most of the time off the road by 1/2 inch. I then downloaded latest IGO8 thinking it would work. Placed it on SD card and ran that. Unfortunately, I have the same problem with IGO8 that I am having with Primo. Tried another sys file that a poster gave me that seems to work on his 7" and it did not fix the problem either.
    Another posted told me to find and try the calibration program ntwcali.exe. I searched high and low for ntwcali.exe but can not find it anywhere. Would appreciate anyone who might have it to give me the link.
    Thank you for your help.
