Sorry if this is in the wrong section or even if the question may have been answered before.
There is some much great info on here I could never read it all
So I got Igo Primo 188.8.131.527029 running on a Chinese head unit 7501. Maps are bang up to date and so is my speedcam database too!
It all works great, just one thing that I cannot see to do is changed that annoying beep - beep - beep when approaching a camera to something more pleasant on the ear. The speedcam database came with two .OGG files, not sure if these are indeed used on the Igo system,
1. Create a folder called "audio" inside IGO folder
2. Put a wav file of your choice renamed "!alert5.wav" inside that folder
2. Put in a wav file of your choice called "as_you_want.wav"
In sys.txt add: [warning]
3. This wav file will be used as new warning sound.
On IGO, there's 6 different sounds for warnings (!alert1 to !alert6.wav), and the sound corresponding to the speedcams is a beep (!alert5.wav).
I don't know if you can define a sound for each kind of radar, except perhaps with a skin.
However the voice announcement may be different.
