    unsuported voice, please see the log

    I have installed iGO primo 1.2 on a Cartrek and Dutch voices(working in iGO8) in the map "voice" but when I start the program I get the message: unsupported voice, please see the log.
    Anyone knows how to solve this?

    hi
    try remove some of the voice settings on the sys text i.e. remove the "say street names" ? just to see if this allows the programme to start.
    then play around with the voice settings when up and running.
    or try running the programme under english voice ?

    Do you mean you just copied the voices from iGO 8x to Primo? That probably won't work and will error out. You need voice files designed specifically for Primo 1.2.
    Also, be sure you did not accidently put a language.zip file in the voice folder--this will produce the same error message.

    No you don't Yurbuh. I know how to use voices. You should know that by now. Trudi, I PMed you.

    You could try to add the following to your sys.txt file:

    [sound]
    csv_voice_enabled=1

    Those two lines were the cure for me.

    My old voice files from iGo8 containted csv-files while the new Primo voice files contained lua-files.

    \content\voice\Voice_swe-f3.zip \config\*.csv

    \content\voice\Voice_Eng-uk-f3-lua.zip \config\*.lua
