Hi, I'm new on that forum since I just get a s-type 2006 with tactil gps. The 2011-2012 dvd was provided with it but, this map is outdated or just useless compared with normal gps maps from tomtom, igo or others. My question is thus the following; does anyone has tried to modify or enhance the very basic denso gps dvd contents for getting better map with POI (notably cameras)?

tryed on Jag XJ my 2010 verbatim DL, imgburn on 2x speed and it is nor working, i assume S type and X type are older brothers of this new XJ and this DVD is not working for new XJ my 2010

As from MY 2009, the XJ has a new nav system.
Since that date, the new XJ has a USB update.
The partnr for a EU USB is Navigation.com-catalog # T1000-19696

Hi there I am new to this but already frustrated.

I have the 2011 Europe update (with MDS and ISO files)

Using image burn + Verbatim DVD+R DL disc +writemaster DVD burner
The details from image burn book type says DVD+R DL

I get this is not a MAP dvd when putting it into the car..

What am I doing wrong???

Set Imgburn to default settings. Select .iso file to burn. Select burn iso to disk.

So I do not need to go to the book mode symbol,
just default settings ,
ignore the MDS file (which imgburn says I need to use)
select iso file to burn
and then burn iso to disc??

OK guys, many thanks for the help, I don't know what I did but on my second attempt it has apparently worked. First I thought that it had blown up as I had nothing but after a few resets I got the old system back and after loading the new (rev2) disc I find the logo is black and when I ask for map version I get 2011-2012.
Alls well that ends well and many thanks
