jaguar 1x43 old dvd

hi, my brother brought a jaguar , the dvdis of 2004,
jaguar Part No 1x43 10E898 AG
DENSO PartNo 464210-5350
so i ve 2 questions , can i download a more recent dvd, and does it exists in 4.7 g to write in a dvd, will it work like the one i got???

ive burned a map : Jaguar_X_S_WEST_2011-2012.. so when i put it on the car ive a error message "thisis not a dvd map", may i do something else after burning the dvd?? thanks ???? and does the map are only on 8g dvds???

Use Verbatim DL R+ at the lowest speed burning speed possible using book type.

sorry for the details i didnt give so i writed it on a verbatim dvd+r dl and the speed was to 6 i think and not at the mini
and when you talk about book type i dont know how to select it, ive just double clic on the file 464110-9060.img and it propose me to burn i clic on ok thats all....... may be ive done something wrong

Look at the settings in your burning program. Select the burningspeed and set it to the slowest speed possible. Select the booktype is nothing more than selecting the icon wich is displayed as a book. When clicking on that book, you can select DL or non DL. Normally programs like IMGburn are the booktype settings are set to ´automaticly`, so when you insert a DL in your DVD/drive it automaticly sees the DL instead of a SL. When your burnprogram doesn´t see your inserted DL, you have to change...the booktype. Succes. Friendo.

thanx for your help, i wrote the dvd on 1x and its ok, when i put it on the car i had a message, "updationg the software" and after few minute i could see the map.
so an other probleme, at the end when i want to select a destination, nothing happen?? it doesnt propose me a town or nothing else......
