unicode maps
Sorry for my newbie question, but what is the diference between a unicode map or a not unicode map?
I have a dnx5280bt and I don't konw which version should I download form the garmin forum.

UNICODE version includes cyrillic, greek and some other languages so you can see the name of the roads in this languages, the problem is that not all devices can support this features, not supported device will see the map but you can have problems with address search so is not usable for this devices. Is mostly used in Nuvi 3700 and 2000 series.
You have to try if your device can manage the Unicode version.
If you don't live on East Europe/Greece....you don't need the unicode version, the coverage (map database) is the same in both versions.
