City Navigator Europe NT2012 on US Kenwood DNX9990HD

Hello, my problem: I have an US Lincoln with OEM nav system in Europe- so it´s not working (Pioneer). ADS iDatalink provide an adapter to keep all oem features incl. sync for 2012 DNX Kenwood aftermaket units. Unfortunately i found out that´s working only with US models - so i am at the beginning.
If i would buy a US model like the Kenwood DNX9990HD, is it possible to load City Navigator Europe NT2012 on it? I know i can switch the radiofrequencies to european standard with some buttons, but the map? I don´t want to waste money...

your model is a version of europian DNX9280BT model,and i think,as i tryed update maps in this model and DON'T successfully do that,that is the same way of how garmin works in kenwood unit,via integrated micro SD card,formated in 2 partitions with some unknown program!

I think in every kenwood system there is a few system menu when you press button and reset system so you can modify the system software of the unit .
from version 2011 no there is usb on the back of the unit so you can't access thìo garmin systm this way
But I think the map can update via sd .
When you try are you sure to put the right map in the right place of the sd ?
