So, I updated my DNX 9280 fine with unlocked maps for all Europe and 3D, however, is doesn't seem to matter which version of the Junction View files I use I can't get the unit to diplay the junction anymore. Also, the ASR fles don't seem to work, although I'm less bothered by that as it's pretty awful anyway.
My unit seems to work with standard unlocked NT Europe Maps, but do I need to download the Unicode ones with corresponding JVC/ASR to make that work, or are the ones posted in the Unicode thread only compatible with a Nuvi? If so, does anyone have any JVC files for a Kenwood?
The 9280 should function with any JCV files. But the split screen file is the proper resolution. Just make sure the JCV file matches the version map you have installed. And you have it installed in a "JCV" folder and not a "JVC" folder as you have mentioned in your post.
ASR/SRX files also have to match your map version. There are 2 versions of ASR files: 34xx and 37xx. Make sure you are using the 37xx files.
I am from US so we don't use unicode maps. But I do see that your 37xx version does. So maybe you should be using unicode as the proper 37xx ASR files and splitscreen JCV files are available.
