The Kia CEE"D has been equipped with a monochrome navigation made by VDOSiemens and is almost identical to an MS4200 (Non C-IQ)
Originally the unit was supplied with a 6 CD set for Europe comparable to the old C-IQ sets of maps.
The unit will gladly accept all Non C-IQ cd's from both Navteq and TeleAtlas

Does anyone know which navigation system is installed in new kia ceed and ceed_sw?
Or at least which maps work with it and what's the best/easyest way to update maps? (usb or cd/dvd)
Depends upon the level of trim. The Cee'd Sportswagon 4 tech 2013 uses Navteq maps from Kia navigation - Update your Kia sat nav maps. but there seems to be no provision for adding other POI's or speed cams. Once the mapping becomes out of date you will be given the option of a new map on a memory stick for £169. Seems an absolute bargin !
I understand Cee'd 1s, 2s and 3s have a different sat nav unit so sorry but I cannot help you there.
