Hi everybody,
who could help me with KIA Sorento 12/2009?
In the user manual is written that maps can be downloaded from DVD into the internal memory.I have preinstalled Germany only.Need more coverage,especially Cz SK HU AT.
I have no idea,what kind of DVD or map data are required.
Any idea?

I do not know the system but a navigation that requires a DVD with 3 GB of data only to updtae Spain and Portugal seems like something of 20 years old!

The ISO file contains two images (2GiB or 1GiB),according the size of the internal memory of the unit(ROM version).Update procedure is done via loading one of these images into the internal ROM and includes both software and maps.I have inspected these images in .bin editor and found that there are additional map data of other countries (even small cities and villages),but these are not available and shown in the unit.The reason is unknown.Also,I found out,that the LG LAN 6880EK unit runs QNX (neutrino ?) operating system and uses exFAT filesystem.

Here are how to update,see attachments. There is two ways to manage the upgrade
first: flash the whole image into the ROM
second: copy aditional mapdata from menu
I investigated,that there exists an full european coverage DVD,currently not available for DL in the web.

Hi all. I have a 2007 Kia Sorento which came with a VDO Dayton MS4300 Nav Radio. Unfortunately no manual or discs came with it. any ideas on how I would get maps or some instructions for it please?
