Interesting that your map DVD says 2006 and the display says 2008
Someone is lying or telling a whole lot of crap, just like the nonsense in your earlier post

You cannot use the Landrover discs in this system because LR DVD's are for Denso touchscreen navigation only
They should be recognized however until you try to enter an address or Postcode. You will get an error
Some claim that the DVD's 464210-8590 and 464210-8101 should function

    AFAIK latest version for this navigation is 2007-2008 GS 1D 66 D20 A and B (464210-8353 and 464210-8343)
There is no Eastern Europe available

    gazo.
You can see the DVD's number is 464210-8110 and they are not 464210-8353/464210-8343.
They had given for Mazda RX8/MPS6.
And tell me pls what is "AFAIK"?

If you hover your mouse pointer over an acronym like AKAIK it will be underlined and the meaning will be shown automatically

Re: Mazda 6 2006 what maps ? problem

    First of all,
    Hello to everyone.
Secondly, I have a Mazda 6 from the year 2006 wiht the Denso Navy unit. I have become crazy looking for some new maps for it, or at least some that would work because the ones I have don't work. It says "Insert another DVD maps" or something like that and it resets again in a few seconds. I think that i have a wrong version of the maps or something like that. Would you tell me what maps should I download? I've become crazy lookin for them but I did not found them. THX

"I can confirm that both discs (west and east) are fully working on mazda6 m.y. 2004 equipped with an denso non-touchscreen system. The eastern one has worked immediatelly after inserting (no sofware update).
The western disc has been recognized only, but could not process the data. Then i tried update the system with an original DVD west (part number 464210-8590) for mazda. After reinserting LR west disc everything worked fine.

These LR discs also worked in subaru forrester m.y. 2006 (touchscreen).I have to note,in subaru all went directly, without making an interstep with mazda west DVD.

Presumable reason of that a little bit strange behavior with mazda nav. maybe in the different size - versions of "loading.kwi".The original mazda-west has about 33MB only, while the LR-west has more than 70MB.However the both east discs (LR and mazda) has same size of system file (possible they are identical),and worked without any update procedure."
