Do you have the Star Diagnosis tool? If not, you would not be able to install the telematic update yourself anyway. Take the car to your dealer and let them take care of the update (in the US you may get it for free if you know which issues to complain).Originally Posted by elitecrew

Difficult to figure out if this response was for the previous message or something else but my reply was referring to the question about getting the telematics update. Irrespectively of the version he has, he would need Star Diagnosis to take care of the telematics update.but didn't he say it's working now? If so they he's already got the current version. The latest maps would not load with the original telematics SW on a US MY2007 car, but the latest maps would load with an older than the latest telematics release. He might still benefit from a telematics update, not just the same way as from the first update.

Interesting, I have loaded this DVD and it's updated. Now I can see streets I had not seen before, but no bird view or traffic. I went to the dealer (in Canada) and they have no idea about telematic update. Should I go to US for that?

The birds eye view option can be changed in your navi menu option. I don't remember the steps but look at your screen does it show a "video" option? If you see "video" as an option on your command then u have the new software already.

Interesting soft... but it not fit for me ! what i need is... 2011 for S Class 2004-2006. Thank you.
i got this to go about 90% way thru on the progress bar, then it tell me that it cannot be updated etc.... my first few attempts, it doesn't seem like it was going to work at all, the progress bar was only about 1 or 3 percent before it eject the dvds... what's going on ? should i burn slower speed?
