I have a 2003 E-class W211 with original 2003 navi cd which ive been using.

If i understood correctly by inserting this new navi cd in the drive the navi software is updated?
What if something goes wrong with the update?

Can i just put the 2003 cd back in and does it do some downgrade of the software so the original 03 version still work?

To travel on your country, you can use only that, you do not have to install more give in
