Comand APS NTG1 Nav software problem

    Hi everyone!

My friend has a problem with Comand NTG1 navigation software in MB W211.
Comand SW version is 30/06 21.090 and the map of Europe v10.0 was loaded.

There are problems in locating car's current position.
It is always located somewhere in Italy.
He said that he manualy enter some coordinates for "current location".

I didn't understand him well -- is it possible to enter your current location manually so that the software always calculates route from that location ?

He said that the maps are working in other Comand NTG1, so the maps are not a problem.
He is far away from me, so I'm not able to check this on the spot.

Does anyone have idea what could caused this problem ?

    Thanks.

You mean the antena was damaged and need to be replaced ?

Or just to try disconnect and connect antena ?

    Thx

    Problem solved!

This guy didn't had navigation dvd reader, but dvd video reader.
He tried to load dvd map into dvd video player. Of course that didn't work.

So, after connecting navigation dvd reader navigation is working.

    Thanks soricel13 for your help.

    ::cheers::
