W211 E-320 CDi with Harman/Becker Comand APS V2.3

Good evening!

I need to find an update for a W211 E-class 320 CDi with a comand unit that was using 'till now a Harman/Becker dvd of Comand APS v 2.3 with europe map from 2003.

I tried the ntg1 2010-2011 that i have successfully med in to another E-class from 2003, but no luck.

I tried with TDK +R dvd's, and not Verbatim, but recorded at the same burner.

When i put it in the unit, says no dvd.

Any toughts to help me, guys?

if your old map is version 1.x, 2.x, 3.x, 4.x then your system need new firmware. if is it above from version 5.0 is up to date .

SnoopJohn is right. You should use map version 4.0 or 5.0 for a moment. After software loading you can use new maps

So, just for clarifying, you're saying i should use v 4.0 or 5.0 to upgrade de firmware then i should be able to use higher versions, is that it?

is a separate CD-ROM disk (E10-40_3067_EU) , you can load the software from trunk....Then do system reset, then insert the new map

Ok, so i must donload and burn the cd-rom with E10-40_3067_EU, right?

Only question is: where can i find it?

hey guys,

I may have a silly question here.
Should I burne a separate CD to update the software in the car or should I download a newer version of maps only.
I have a MERCEDES-BENZ E 280 CDI
the model year is 2005.

if I need a new version of the map only, do you know where I can find it.
