ok i just picked up a pack of 20 for $45 lol hope this works...one lost question, am i burning the .iso file or the .mds file? cuz the iso says its the 6.5GB but the MDS says its only 9kb, but when i selected the iso file, imageburn said NO, lol and selected the .mds file

the burning app is imageburn. it creates 2 files. 1 iso and 1 mds file. you are burning the iso file. the mds file is nothing more than a cue file for imageburn. you can load the mds file and it send directions to imageburn to burn the iso file.
yes, imageburn will want you to load the mds file....but your are really burning the iso from its directions.

rog, i got it figured out, just completed the burn...now off to the C55, wish me luck!

works great, though i was a bit surprised that it didn't load really all that much considering its a year newer than the old map installed...but after maybe 20sec of loading it fired right up...i'm making another 2 copies just in case these dvd's dont hold up to the heat! thanks again man! Gotta respect true selflessness!

i believe with every new disk that is put into your mcsII, it requires an initialization. i think this only happens once and your are all set. thanks for the kind words...my main objective is the f*ck over all those a-holes who sell this...and that includes those so called fake group buys. i just hope that ive started something and perhaps someone else will do this the next time.
