Which DL DVD media did you use? Were you able to read the DVD properly with a PC once you had burned it? Which program did you use to burn the DVD? Next time you could tell all the necessary background info while asking help.

try to get verbatim dl
set the drive to dvd-rom
burn at 4x
off you go

I've just tried to update my car (my2066), all was fine until 1/3 downloading to the hard disk, and suddenly nothing else.
i've used imgburn + verbatim DVD+R DL
Each time i restart the update, the screen shows me 1/3 update, and COMAND says "unable to update the map, see the manual", and eject the DVD.
Any help will be very appriciate, thanks a lot.

Burn at a lower speed (what speed did you use) or use a better DVD-drive.

i've used 4x, but your idea to use a better DVD-drive could be the good one. i am going to test.

Maybe have you an other idea to oblige the copy to the HD to restart from the begining, and not to
consider that the first 1/3 is already loaded ?

if the dvd has a slight defect, the merc dvd would reject it. I had a similar issue with the previous map, which was smaller in size. I used verbatim and it got stuck at around 95%. On close examination of the disc, there was a small defect on it at the edge.I burned another one and it worked perfectly. So try burning another disc.

I've burnt 4 differents DVD (from 3 kinds : 2 -R and 1 +R) coming from 2 differents download .. i guess that the pb is not comming from a DVD defect.

Does anyone know if there is a method to oblige COMAND to restart the loading of the DVD from zero.

did you download the map from the link provided on this thread? I had a similar issue, when i bought the previous version from some one. It used to get stuck at 80%. I later downloaded another image from a torrent. Interestingly and not surprisingly the size of the image on the disk i bought was smaller. The one i downloaded worked like magic. so please verify the size of the download.

I've tested this issue too. 2 differents download (one using the link here and the other using torrent), but they have exactly the same size .. .. pfff .. i guess i am going to continue to loose myself using V10
