I want to download new navigation maps for GL from 2007. I've checked this topic - How to know the GPS system in my Mercedes-Benz and I found that i should have NTG2,5 version.
Please tell me am I wrong or not, because I think that my Navi System is NTG2 not 2,5.
I have a non-touch screen, buttons around screen and AUDIO - VIDEO buttons instead of RADIO - DISC (as in NTG2.5 version).
My previous maps (2009) are on DVD+R disc...

If i remember correctly the easiest way to identify NTG 2.5 vs 2.0 is the 2.5 has hard drive and SD card slot, and also accepts 7 digit postcode entries, the 2.0 has none of those features and only accepts 5 digit postcode entries.

This disc is for the 2.0 DVD based COMAND system.

The 2.5 discs update the data stored on the hard drive, and as far as i know you cant use copied discs due to protection, and no, it is not just the bookmark type setting that it looks at.

For burning you could use a simple too such as BurnCDCC

it will use optimal mode if you dont adjust it, and should make a good job of burning these

kocurr - the ntg 2.5 models have an internal hard drive, an SD slot in the top area, and accept 7 digit postcode entries, they also do not have the buttons on the lower edge of the front face, they also have built in bluetooth - the older NTG 2.0 have none of these features, and the disc here is for the 2.0 version

Hello Sanin I have the model ntg 2.5 with HDD please tell me you would know which maps can help me?
The maps that I have on my device is 2008 and I wish I could put the 2011 or 2012 but from what I have understood you need to update the Firwmare and say they can not update the NTG 2.5 with Internet downloaded dvds you know anything about this please?
And you can tell me where I can download me to update my device?

Hey guys - I'm looking for Navi DVD COMAND Mercedes Europa 2012 NTG2 V13 - should be out now, but could not get a working download by now.

Hy! I tried to upgrade my NTG2, but it given update error 2 and stopped. My question is how can i try to update again? Thanks!
