Hi everyone,

I got 2009 C-class w204 with US Comand NTG4 nav system.
The problem is that it won't accept Europe v6.0 map (A204 827 47 59).

I read about changing region code from US to ECE, but I didn't try that.

Does the region code unlocks this, or there is some other method for doing that ?

I forgot to confirm that this worked for me in 2009 W204 with Comand navigation...


* US Comand APS NTG4 accepts Europe map after changion region from US to ECE :

Enter engineering menu, and go to Software Parameters
Change the Region to ECE (2)
Turn the car off for 5 minutes.
Turn the car on, and scan the radio dial, the US setting will only scan odd decimals (i.e. 100.1), EU setting will scan all decimals (i.e. 100.0).
If you radio is scanning all decimals, the update has taken effect, if not turn the car off and continue to wait for the settings to finish applying.
Insert European Navigation DVD, and follow the on-screen instructions.
You will need to leave the car idling for about an hour and a half, and there's a disc change after about an hour and 15 mintues.

Hello everyone;
I imported from USA to Bosnia and Herzegovina;
Mercedes ML-320 CDI 4 Matic, the year 2008.
In the Mercedes as we update the SEVIS miles to kilometers, Fahrenheit to Celsius, but with navigation have a problem! ! !
I have a small family can mean they often travel to foreign countries, Italy, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria
The map we need to travel!
The vehicle has navigation, but here in Europe it does not work.
Please anyone to give me instructions on how to solve my problem.
For days I searched the net and am accidentally found this page you can only see something smart!
I searched but could not find a solution!

Hi all
I'm new at this forum but with the same problem as others. My car w204 c350 2008 from USA. First problem is that as you wrote to load european maps I need to update comand software but my dealer told me that it is impossible and they will not do that. Is there another way to make this in my car? I have friend with star diagnosis. Pls. help. Other question is how to change fahrenheit to celsius (outdoor temperature) cause my dealer also said that is no way to do this.

hi, im having also a similar problem, i have mercedes ml 500 w164 us command imported to eroupe and i cant use my navigation, im looking for a way to put Europe maps in my navigation

just for general knowledge, i have been trying to make a hybrid dvd from us MCS II and NTG 2 to get my US comand system to show European maps with no successes so far. has anybody managed to do a hybrid dvd for US comand that actually works and shows european maps?
if yes, how did you did it?
